| I'm a Website developer (Developer. Not, I repeat, not designer. Don't ask me about fonts or colors. I program what happens when you press a button), who uses her sparse free time to write, procrastinate writing by reading and watching TV (mostly for inspiration for stories). When I'm not too lazy, I run to keep in shape and I'm forever trying to lose ten pounds (and managing only to gain four). I write mainly fanfiction, mainly for Danny Phantom. I've done some Alex Rider too, and a few drabbles for other fandoms. Original stories require too much work, I'd have to completely invent characters. Fanfiction allows me to use characters that people already know, and that I don't have to explain. Yes, I think writing fanfiction is easier than writing original fiction. The only advantage of original fiction (besides it being totally mine  ), would be to avoid endless discussion on what is or isn't 'in character'.Nylah |

The room was quiet. The few sounds coming from outside – a maid, calling out to somebody, the sound of a hammer, probably coming from the smithy – only accentuated the silence in the room. The familiar voice drifted over the rose garden and caught the attention of the young guard, sitting idly on the bench next to the pond. He looked up in alarm, scanning the garden, looking for his wards. The garden looked deserted. He frowned and got up, unfolding his long legs and grabbing the hilt of his sword.
